SHIPPING

Where does Modern Skin Co. ship?

Modern Skin Co. currently ships to 9 provinces and 3 territories in Canada. You may experience longer delivery times when shipping to the territories. We will do our very best to get your products to you in the shortest time possible. We do not currently ship to the province of Quebec.

Shipping Speeds.

We offer four shipping speeds:

  1. Standard (5-9 business days);
  2. Preferred (3-7 business days); 
  3. Expedited (2-3 business days); 
  4. Rush (1-2 business days).

    Please allow 1 to 2 business days for us to receive and process your order.
    Note that shipping costs will vary depending on your location. 

  • When will my order ship?

Here's how it works: You place your order, we process your order, then we ship directly to you.

Processing takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 2pm ET are processed the next business day). After your order is placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email from us. After the carrier has picked up your order, you will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. 

  • How long will it take to ship to the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut?

You might experience a few extra days in shipping timelines. Shipping to the territories will take about 10-15 business days.

  • I'm having problems with the tracking.

Sometimes the carrier can take 1-2 business days to register your shipment status. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, please email us as soon as you can via info@modernskin.co. We will look into this for you. 

  • How can I edit my shipping address?

If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please email info@modernskin.co as soon as possible.

International Shipping

Unfortunately, we are only able to ship within Canada currently. However, we plan to offer International shipping in the future. Thank you for your patience.

  • Are taxes and duties included in my order total?

No. You will be charged HST/GST the at checkout.

  • Do you ship to Canadian PO Boxes?

We apologize, but we cannot ship to a P.O. Box.

  • How can I find out more information about a product?

  • What skin types are Modern Skin Co.’s Advanced Repair + Concentrate suitable for?

Our product is appropriate for all skin type. Advanced Repair + concentrate does contain a low dosage of Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acids, and should cause no irritation. However, every skin is different. If you feel a mild tingling, that is a normal sensation for this product. If the tingling is too strong for you or you feel a burning sensation instead, please rinse product off with cool water. This product is paraben free.

  • Do you test on animals?

We never test on animals.

  • Can I sell Modern Skin Co.’s product on my own site?

Unfortunately, we do not allow you to sell our product through your website. It is solely for your personal use. If you are a retailer or wholesaler, and are interested in carrying our product, please email us at info@modernskin.co.

Returns & Exchanges

  • How do I place a return or exchange?

We understand that sometimes a product does not work for you. Please email us at info@modernskin.co with your order number and we will take care of this for you.

  • I did not receive a return slip.

We do not include return slips in our packages. Please contact us at info@modernskin.co and we will help you place your return.

  • What’s your return policy?

All returns must be processed within 30 days of receiving the order. You will be refunded in full to your original form of payment. Please note, your original shipping charges are not refunded. Email us at info@modernskin.co and we will help you place the return.

  • How long does it take to process a return?

Credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

  • When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

  • Can I remove a saved payment method?

Yes. You can make this change on your Account Page. If you need help, email us at info@modernskin.co

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques or money orders.

  • What can I do if my payment is declined?

Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through:

    • Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you have entered into our system.
    • Is your card expired?
    • Your card issuer may have declined your payment. They don’t tell us the reason for this, so it’s best to check with them before trying your card again.

  • How is Modern Skin Co.’s product different from other natural skincare brands’?

Our product reflects our philosophy that natural skincare should be safe and effective and use proven scientific delivery systems to ensure that the product makes it to the deeper layers of the skin where it does most of the work. We do not believe in the common idea that everything natural is always better for the skin. We strive to create balance. To have truly effective skincare, and to cause true change on the skin, you need the best of both the natural world and scientific methods. We use a majority of natural ingredients in our product, and have chosen to do so because of the scientifically proven results of these ingredients. We believe in using natural products when it makes sense to do so and science-based ingredients when it produces a better result for the skin. The product is made in a laboratory by trained cosmetic chemists. We believe skincare is a science and should be created by experts trained in this field. Our products are also properly preserved so you can be confident that your product will last through to its expiry and retain its integrity.  We also use a treatment pump on our bottle so there is no risk of contaminating the product with bacteria from your surrounding environment. We provide you with a truly multi-functional product that detoxifies the skin, helps hyper-pigmentation and dark spots fade, regulates sebum production, reduces inflammation from blemishes and environmental aggressors, delivers intense hydration, restores radiance and helps smooth fine lines.

  • How can I update my order?

Please email us at info@modernskin.co as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. Our fulfillment centre processes orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to process your request.

  • How can I check the status of my order?

You can view order status on your Account page, which will be updated as soon as you are charged for your shipment and again once your order ships.
